The final stop on the tour will be the area around Lake Garda. Surrounded by mountains to the north, and wineries to the south, the lake itself is encircled by long stretches of flat dedicated cycle paths, with endless lake views.
We will be staying in Peschiara del Garda, which sits on the southern end of the lake, and lies just 20 miles from the historic city of Verona. A bustling port in its own right, Peschiara is the jumping off point for a broad range of local rides, which use a mix of ferries and cable cars to circumnavigate the lake and tackle the mountains to the north.
Accommodation
Our final base is in Peschiara del Garda on the shores of Lake Garda. With a pool overlooking the lake, and easy access to the lake front cycle path, this will hopefully provide the perfect ending to our trip.
